High-Power DC Motor Solution for Automatic Doors
With social development, automatic doors are increasingly widely used in daily life due to their superior convenience. Automatic doors are categorized into electric roller shutters, electric telescopic gates, electric floating gates, electric folding doors, electric sliding doors, electric revolving doors, sensor-operated doors, and barrier gates. Electric roller shutters are mainly used in garages, storefronts, subways, and residential buildings; telescopic gates and floating gates are commonly installed in industrial parks, factories, commercial complexes, and government facilities; sliding doors and sensor-operated doors are often found in high-end office buildings, hotels, and subway stations; barrier gates are widely applied in residential communities, toll stations, construction sites, office buildings, airports, and subways.

As automatic doors become more prevalent, performance requirements for their motors are also increasing. Current market demands for automatic door motors include:
Electronic control capability
Simple and convenient speed adjustment
High output torque with stable and reliable operation
High efficiency, low speed, and high torque
Low noise and long service life
Compliance with EMC requirements

In response to market needs, Fenghui Motor has developed a series of motor solutions for electric and automatic doors:
PGM.W072 Series – Permanent magnet DC gearmotor with worm and helical gear reduction, providing low-speed, high-torque output for opening and closing roller shutters. Equipped with a built-in Hall sensor, it offers direction and speed feedback for electronic control. This gearmotor supports up to 100,000 cycles, delivers high torque at low speed, and operates at low power—16.7 N.m torque, 48 rpm speed, and only 83 W power consumption.
PT5270 Series & PT6062 Series – These motors come without a gearbox and feature a worm gear mounted on the shaft end. The PT5270 offers 75% efficiency, while the PT6062 reaches 70%. By adding worm gears or other reduction mechanisms, they enable sliding, bi-parting, or revolving door operations. These brushed DC motors allow simple speed control, high output torque, and smooth, reliable performance. Their simple structure and mature manufacturing process also help reduce costs.

By optimizing the internal design of permanent magnet DC motors, Fenghui ensures smooth low-speed operation and enhanced torque output, allowing doors to complete opening and closing even under partial obstruction. We fully leverage the advantages of DC motors—easy speed control, high torque, stability, and reliability.
With 20 years of experience in motor customization, Fenghui has accumulated strong technical expertise and can rapidly develop customized motor solutions based on customer requirements.
