While the discomfort may be tolerable during short drives, prolonged journeys in poorly adjusted seats can lead to accumulated fatigue, potentially affecting driving safety. Electrically adjustable seats significantly simplify adjustment for both drivers and passengers, allowing quick and precise positioning via intuitive controls. Once a comfort feature reserved for premium models, electric seats are becoming increasingly accessible as production costs decline and consumer purchasing power grows. They are steadily evolving into a standard feature across vehicle segments.

Aligning with this trend, Fenghui Motor has concentrated its R&D resources—dedicating 3% of annual sales to research—to develop a brushed DC motor solution for automotive seat adjustment. By integrating worm and worm gear transmission with differential and planetary gear designs, the resulting motors deliver low noise, smooth operation, no abnormal sounds, extended service life, and high torque.

After nearly four years of development, Fenghui now offers two main product categories: memory and non-memory systems. These include:

• 3 horizontal adjustment series (2 brushed, 1 brushless), with 3 motor variants

• 2 side lift series, with 14 motor variants

• 1 front lift series, with 6 motor variants

• 1 full lift series, with 4 motor variants

• 2 angle adjustment series, with 16 motor variants

Fenghui is already collaborating with leading automotive clients on brushless seat motor development, including one model for horizontal adjustment currently in progress.
