Motor Basics | Introduction to Fenghui Motor Model Number System

Since 2001, Fenghui has been providing one-stop customized solutions for small/medium and micro motors to global clients. To date, our design and development portfolio encompasses motor types including Universal Motors, Permanent Magnet DC Motors, Brushless DC Motors, Switched Reluctance Motors, and Gear Motors. The model numbers for these five main series are structured as: Motor Type + Lamination Size + Voltage + Sequence Number.

The representative letters for each motor type are:

  • PU: Universal Motor

  • PT: Permanent Magnet DC Motor

  • PBL: Brushless DC Motor

  • PGM: Gear Motor

  • PSR: Switched Reluctance Motor
